Sharing Jesus Stories

These stories come from individuals and congregations across the Presbyterian Church. They speak of finding faith in Jesus and of the ways people and churches are loving others and sharing faith in everyday life.

If you have a story to share, or have encountered one that has encouraged you please tell us about it

Share a story

Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story (Psalm 107:2)

These stories carry authenticity and vulnerability. As they witness God’s goodness and grace, wesee how the God who is the same yesterday, today, and forever is still at work in lives around us.

We pray these stories encourage and inspire you as you encounter and share Jesus.

Storytelling has long been one of the ways people communicate meaning, hope, and purpose. As missiologist Phil Knox observes, stories are both timeless and timely — shared across generations, yet deeply resonant in today’s culture. Within the life of the church, stories have long strengthened faith and encouraged others along the way.

The stories gathered here are shared not as finished answers or perfect models, but as real experiences shaped by particular people, places, and seasons. They invite us to celebrate how God is at work in ordinary lives and communities.

They encourage faithful reflection - creating space to consider how we:

  • accompany others on journeys of discovery,
  • speak about faith in Jesus well,
  • serve our communities in ways that demonstrate Christ’s love and truth.

While deeply personal, these are not simply individual stories. They are Jesus stories. They carry familiar themes of:

  • life before knowing Jesus
  • the journey of encountering Jesus
  • the difference that life with Jesus makes
  • the ways Jesus’ love and truth are shared with others
