2026 General Assembly
Welcome to the 2026 General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland (PCI). The Church met in General Assembly at Assembly Buildings, Belfast, from Tuesday, 9 June to Friday, 12 June.
Here on the General Assembly Hub, you will find general information, news releases, videos and the amended timetable of the business that was before the General Assembly. Due to civil disturbances that took place during the week of the General Assembly in various parts of Northern Ireland, and the subsequent disruption to public transport, business was reorganised on a day-by-day basis. Please note that the business that took place in the order it took place can be found below and is not the same as published in the Blue Book.

The Blue Book and Annual Reports
The reports and corresponding resolutions to be discussed and debated during the course of the General Assembly are brought together in one publication - historically it is known as the 'Blue Book'.
The Blue Book can be found here in pdf format, or from the drop-down box at the top of this page. The Blue Book also contains the Revised Guide to Assembly Procedure, were you will find definitions and explanations of important elements of the General Assembly.
Supplementary Reports
Any licensed supplementary business to be discussed and debated during the General Assembly can be found in the Supplementary Reports. This publication will be available on the opening morning of the General Assembly from the drop-down box at the top of this page.

Full details of each day’s business before the General Assembly can be found here in four daily timetables. As noted above, due to civil disturbances that took place during the week of the General Assembly in various parts of Northern Ireland, and the subsequent disruption to public transport, business was subsequently reorganised. Please note that the following is the actual order of business that took place and is different from the business published in the Blue Book.
