Each year, Presbyterian Women support a Special Home and Overseas project.
Special Home Project 2025-26 | Sligo Haven Project
Presbyterian Women’s Special Home Project for 2025/26 will come alongside the amazing work that is being done in Sligo Presbyterian Church through their Haven multi-cultural outreach ministry. It is hoped that we will raise £15K which will be used to help support the outreach ministry at the Haven as well as fund the purchase of digital translation equipment to help further the work of reaching out to others with the good news of the gospel.
Special Overseas Project 2025-26 | Crisis Centre, Berehove, Ukraine
In 2025/26 Presbyterian Women seeks to raise £15K to help provide families staying at the Crisis Centre with new improved bathroom facilities. It is hoped that this will add to a better sense of well-being as well as helping to ease other financial strains for the Diaconal Centre.
Your funding will also support the work of Deaconesses as they seek to serve God, the Church and the community; as well as the work of South Belfast Friendship House and its ongoing ministry with children, teenagers and adults in South Belfast.
Through the work of the Council for Global Mission your partnership will reach across the world; supporting Global Mission Workers to ensure that all might hear and know the reality of Christ at work in their lives.
This two-minute video is an excellent resource that can be used by PW Groups and LINKs at group meetings, church services and fundraising events, and can be shared on your own PW Group’s Facebook page.
We want to recommend this video as an excellent means by which to communicate how important your partnership is in sustaining the work of Presbyterian Women.
