About Aaron House

Aaron House offers residential and respite care in a supportive and welcoming environment. Referrals come from both the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust and the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust. The home provides accommodation for 14 permanent residents and has two respite beds.

With its own adapted transport, residents enjoy regular outings and trips, helping them stay connected, vary their activities and support overall wellbeing.

Aaron House is managed by the Council for Social Witness, which oversees is responsible for the residential services, and Choice Housing, which is responsible for the building itself. An independent Day Care Unit is also on site that can meet the needs of up to nine people daily.

The Home is registered with the RQIA, which carries out regular inspections. Reports are available at www.rqia.org.uk

Every resident receives personalised, high-quality care, with staff working alongside families and health professionals. This team approach ensures care plans are tailored to each person’s specific needs.

The heart of the home is summed up in its mission: ‘All People Matter to God.’ Inspired by the compassion shown by Jesus throughout the New Testament, the team at Aaron House seeks to reflect that same care in all they do.

Support from the United Appeal helps make this work possible, enabling the Council for Social Witness to continue offering Christian care and presence through homes like Aaron House.
