Reaching the fringe

This resource is designed to help kirk sessions reflect on how they can better connect with people on the fringes of church life. That includes those in elders’ districts who rarely attend worship, as well as others with a looser connection to the congregation, even if they aren’t on the membership list.

What’s involved?

The session lasts about an hour and is built around group discussion. Some preparation is required in advance. You’ll find everything you need in the downloadable PowerPoint and facilitator’s notes. If you don’t have access to PowerPoint, you can print the slides (three per page) and use them as handouts.
