A practical resource to help congregations rediscover prayer, find confidence in using their voice and grow in prayer together.
Why Prayer Matters
Prayer is one of the deepest joys of the Christian life. The God of glory listens to us every time we pray – and delights to hear our voice.
Prayer is also essential. It fuels everything we do as followers of Jesus and as congregations. And yet, prayer can often feel difficult. Many ask:
When should I pray?
What do I pray?
How do I pray?
For some, insecurities get in the way:
“I’m not eloquent.”
“I’m not confident.”
“I could never pray like them.”
Finding Our Voice in Prayer is here to help.
How ‘Finding Our Voice in Prayer’ helps
Prayer is at the heart of congregational life and witness. Yet for many, long-standing ways of praying together have become difficult to sustain. New believers may never have had the chance to find their voice in prayer, while others may have lost confidence over time.
Finding Our Voice in Prayer has been created to help congregations re-establish prayerfulness. Alongside the resource booklet, a series of video stories share how congregations are exploring fresh ways to engage members in prayer. New material will be added from time to time and shared on PCI’s social media.
