Reimagining Ministry

Reimagining Ministry invites Kirk Sessions, to approach a vacancy with hopefulness and belief that it can be a helpful, healthy and fruitful process for the congregation. It is designed to help congregations reflect on their missional priorities during a time of vacancy.

It includes a range of conversation tools and real-life stories from across PCI to help you think practically and prayerfully about future ministry models.

This resource can support a Kirk Session to navigate vacancy with faith and confidence, while appreciating the flexibility of ministry models now developing across PCI.

Mission as a Minority

This tool is for Kirk Sessions in areas where Presbyterians once enjoyed a more equal or majority presence, but which has now changed to a minority status.

It seeks to help the Church to reflect on its own cultural baggage and offer some practical ways in which to cross boundaries - cultural, relational, historical – not expecting others to come to us, but going to them with humility, grace and confidence in Christ.
