The General Council agreed and reported to the 2016 General Assembly that the Linkage Commission should draw up guidance for kirk sessions on general employment issues. The Linkage Commission hopes these guidelines will be of help to kirk sessions and directs all kirk sessions to follow them. These guidelines should be used in conjunction with the Guide to Recruiting Local Church Employees, available from our HR support provider.
