‘Faith in Your Teens’ is designed to inspire and equip parents as they nurture Christian faith in their teenagers. With contributions from local voices, it provides a safe space in any Presbyterian congregation for parents to share and reflect on how they raise their teens in faith, building confidence as disciple makers.
The material can be run in any congregation, either over one or two informal sessions, or adapted to suit local needs. It includes introductory exercises, two video clips and optional discussion questions to encourage relaxed and meaningful conversations.
Video Clips
Clip 1: Engaging with your teenager: Recognising the challenges of adolescent development and considering how to keep relationships and communication strong.
Clip 2: Walking with your teenager: Considering how parents can intentionally develop faith in their young people in the context of day-to-day family life.
