About Eric Says

The ‘Eric Says’ resource is based on a series of books written by Dai Hankey and published by The Good Book Company. It begins in the everyday world of a child, through the experiences of Eric, and gently moves towards God, helping children understand who He is and how He can be part of their lives.

Sessions explore themes of saying thanks, sorry and please. Each one includes activities, a video story read by the author and follow‑up resources to help children encounter God in ways that are clear and accessible.

The Sessions

Each session includes: an introductory activity, a video story read by Dai Hankey and additional activities or prayer resources to build understanding and connect with the Bible.

In saying thanks, Eric begins to have an increased awareness of who God is and a little of what He does.

In saying sorry, Eric begins to understand how he is being given what he does not deserve, exploring something of the meaning of grace.
