South Belfast Friendship House
South Belfast Friendship House is located on Blythe Street and has been providing a Christian witness in the Sandy Row community in Belfast for many years.
About the project
Set in a residential street adjacent to shops, factories and other community facilities, it is a place where fellowship and support are available to local people.
Current activities include:
- Homework Clubs for children
- After-school clubs
- Tots and Toddlers group
- Friendship Group
- Men's Breakfast
- Women's Bible Study
We currently have three members of staff; a Children’s Worker, a Deaconess and a Project Leader.
This project presents an incredible opportunity to develop ministry to reach out to people in a wide variety of situations.
