John Calvin Faculty

John Calvin Faculty or Faculté Jean Calvin (FJC), Institut de Théologie Protestante et Evangélique, founded in 1974 has a particular calling to promote Reformed theology in the French-speaking world.

Logo FJC

The theology as taught in FJC reflects that of the early Church, the Churches born out of the Reformation of the 16th century and the Evangelical movement.

FJC primarily trains men and women for ministry in various Reformed or Protestant denominations in France and the French-speaking world. The courses provided at FJC take into account today's needs in ministry and include a growing distance-learning programme to Masters level.

PCI continues to support the strategic work of FJC through the provision of an annual grant, which helps FJC meet its running costs.

In addition, Rev. Dr. Gordon Campbell, Professor of New Testament Studies at Union Theological College UTC), who formerly taught at FJC (FLTR), makes periodic short visits to Aix to help FJC deliver its courses.
