Presbyterian Church relaunch website with new design
The Presbyterian Church in Ireland has updated its official website, offering visitors a full set of new features to explore online.
As a Christian organisation, prayer should be at the centre of all PCI operates in and this fundamental need is catered for through the dedicated Prayer section, which will generate new prayer points daily. This will enable members of the church to pray specifically for the needs of the wider church and help to establish a better understanding of the many aspects of witness PCI is involved in through United Appeal.
The Mission area of the website is designed to raise awareness of the many people and projects United Appeal supports in countries over the world as well as the island of Ireland. Major projects and those organisations whom PCI partner with are listed for members to read about as well as missionaries, Deaconesses, Irish mission workers and community outreach workers that PCI supports.
In terms of mission at home and congregational life, the Training and Events section provides details of forthcoming training courses, seminars and conferences that congregations and members can use to be more effective in their own ministry.
A comprehensive Resources section holds many key publications that can be downloaded such as an information leaflet on baptism, United Appeal briefings and financial forms for church treasurers and ministers.
Getting directions to any Presbyterian Church is now available through the Find a Church functionality, and the database of churches can be searched by postcode, town or by key word.
As normal, all official PCI press releases can be found in the News pages and the About Us section gives background and historical information on PCI including its structure and the sacraments it administers.
