31 Main Street,
Sunday Service:
Minister: Rev. Rick Montgomery |
Trinity BangorTrinity is located near the bottom of the busy Main Street in Bangor, a short distance from the Flagship Shopping Centre. The building was opened in August 1888 in what was then a residential area, and has been internally refurbished on a number of occasions since. It seats about 350 people. We also have an excellent suite of halls to the rear of the church. Our members come from all parts of the Bangor area. A creche is provided during morning service. Sunday School runs in parallel with the morning service during school terms; outside term time there is Children's Church instead. During the week we have a number of home groups and a mid-week meeting for prayer. The church is also open for private prayer on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings from approx. 10.00am. There is a full range of weekly activities, including Sunday Schools, Bible Class, two youth fellowships (Escape and Cell), Bowling Clubs, choir, orchestra, band, Boys' Brigade, Girls' Brigade, Christian Endeavour, Mums and Toddlers, Rendezvous fellowship for older members, Cameo group for singles, Presbyterian Women's Association (two groups). Alpha courses run annually. We are evangelical, combining the best of traditional and contemporary worship and reaching out to our community in Bangor. Visitors and new members are always welcome.
